Sheila the Civic that could has been through a lot! She made the long drive from the Rio Grande Valley to Oklahoma City in 2006 when her drivers decided to move. OKC was a fun new place. Unfortunately, several months after arriving, Sheila was stolen and stripped of her valuable after-market parts. She was very close to being complete – all that was missing was a paint job! She was found sitting on blocks in the parking lot of a school.

The clear corner lights were gone. The wheels and tires were taken. Stereo ripped from her dash, rear view mirror broken, steering column broken, fenders gone… so much damage done!

Sheila was set back so far. In fact, her drivers almost considered just letting her go and leaving her at the wrecking yard. Yet, even in the condition she was in, she held a certain sentimental value to them… they found some used steel wheels and tires and drover her home.

For a long time Sheila sat dormant in the garage with no fenders… but the time would come when parts would be ordered and her owners would start putting her back together again.

Sheila is on a roll now! She’s come a long way and she’s got a long way to go yet, but she will be beautiful again!

If you happen to spot her on the roads, know that she is happy – vroooming is her favorite thing to do!
