Google does something that probably shoulda been done years ago. A new feature with their email service thats been in beta for 5 years has added the ability to delete emails. Thats right! No more getting home all drunk at 2am and then in your alcohol fueled bravery decide to tell your higher up exactly what you though of there worthless meeting about the colors on the company logo. Or to tell your girlfriend that she’s a cheating hoe for talking to your best friend about something you couldn’t quite overhear (probably your birthday)  as you were too busy checking out a redhead. The down side is you’ve only got 5 seconds to think it over before it emails it. Yep no fancy database editting or POP server magic, just a simple delay. But givin that most emails that shouldn’t be are accompained with the huge feeling of uh oh pretty quickly afterward, then it should be enough. So the next time you decide to tell the board of directers they’re abunch of %$#&, or *&^% or the daring Turkish phrase @!*%$ – &^%$#.  You’ll have 5 secounds to atone

You have to excuse my interest as of late in G1 apps. It is just so interesting to see what kinds of applications people will develop for an open platform. If you don’t know already, the G1 runs Android OS, the open platform for phones. Check out Spoof App. It allows you to place a call to any number you want and spoof the number that appears on the receiving phone’s caller ID. It even allows you to change the sound of your voice and allows for recording of the phone call.
